COVERED DISH SCRIMMAGE
Friday, August 15
The covered
dish scrimmage has become a tradition for Hueytown
football. This event is an opportunity for the
community to get a sneak preview of the Gophers
before officially kicking off the new season.
All of the players families are asked to bring a
covered dish (enough to feed your family) and place
it in the meeting room (closest to Allison-Bonnett
Memorial Drive) under the stadium.
The scrimmage should begin around 5:00pm and after
it concludes, the players are first
to dig in. After the players have been served,
the parents are invited to enjoy the great food and
fellowship. We can always use volunteers to
assist with set-up and clean-up of this event and if
you are interested, please see Cindy Campbell.
Your help is appreciated. |
